Vivek Mohindra

Vivek is an innovative leader with over 30 years of proven success in driving strategy, managing P&Ls, investing, and transforming businesses. He has worked across the entire Tech value chain – materials, semiconductors, systems, software and services. Vivek’s most recent professional roles included serving as Special Advisor to the Vice Chair & COO, and as Chief Strategy Officer for Dell Technologies. These roles focused on leveraging AI to transform companies and to capitalize on new growth opportunities. His prior experiences include serving as Partner and co-leader of global semiconductor practice at McKinsey, as Operating Group Partner at TPG Capital, as General Partner investing in Tech at New Science Ventures and as SVP of Strategy & Business Transformation at Freescale Semiconductors. Vivek currently serves on the Board of Directors of Total Site Solutions Inc (NASDAQ: TSSI) and on the Advisory Council of CMU’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of over 10 private and public companies, including CyberOptics (NASDAQ-listed and acquired by Nordson) and GlobalFoundries (while privately held by Mubadala). Vivek also serves as international spokesperson on AI for the U.S. Department of State. In this role, he engages with government, academia, entrepreneurs and established companies on issues related to AI. Vivek holds concurrent PhD in Chemical Engg (in semiconductor processing) and MBA from MIT, and BE in Chemical Engg from IIT Roorkee (India)
